2020 clôture avec brio une trilogie magistrale, après deux millésimes 2018 et 2019 remarquables. Son grain soyeux, son énergie et son équilibre en font un vin prometteur pour une longue garde. Superbe, la robe du Château Saint-Georges est d’un rouge sombre éclatant souligné par un liseré grenat.
The nose is powerful, rich, complex, developing on swirling a remarkable aromatic palette of black fruits, sweet spices, dark chocolate and milky cream. The palate is suave, vinous, dense with fat, mature and coated tannins.
There is a nice persistence in the mouth with grilled notes such as roasted coffee but also spicy like gray pepper. Its finish is long and bursting with freshness. A very great wine for a very great vintage.
