Château Saint-Georges Vintage 2017
The Château Saint-Georges 2017 translates with distinction the aromatic richness of its Merlots and their harvest at optimum maturity on an exceptional clay-limestone terroir. Here is a gourmet wine, very straight, long in the mouth, displaying a beautiful balance between power and tannic finesse, capable of being appreciated from its earliest youth as well as after years of cellaring.

A nice balance between power and tannic finesse!
Tasting comment
The dress of Château Saint-Georges 2017 offers a very beautiful deep garnet color with elegant reflections. The nose has a remarkable freshness and a lot of structure with an explosion of small black fruits, spices, liquorice and fresh mint. The palate is ample, fleshy and creamy. The tannins are fat and coated with magnificent aromas of black fruits, cherries and blueberries. They mingle in harmony with a fine woodiness enhanced by delicate roasted and smoky flavors, signs of a very successful ageing. The finish is long, fresh, mineral and superbly spicy.

Our Suggestions
