Château Saint-Georges Vintage 2014
The winter and the mild spring allowed a uniform flowering. September gave us optimal sunshine for the grapes before starting the harvest on October 8 in very mild weather. A 2014 vintage with magnificent aromatic potential.

A round and balanced wine!
Tasting comment
A deep garnet red color with a light amber border. The nose, suave, magnificently fruity with notes of morello cherries and exotic apricot fruits.
The new barrel brings a fragrance of smoked caramel to the olfactory ensemble. The palate reveals a round and balanced wine.
L’attaque est douce, on retrouve une belle amplitude en milieu de bouche ainsi que des tannins lisses et enrobés, signes d’un élevage en barriques remarquablement soigné.

Our Suggestions
Côtes de veau aux morilles, gigot d’agneau aux pommes de terre sarladaises, fromages à pâte riche, comté, cantal, salers.
Point –
Discreet nose, soft mouth, soft tannins, good body, long tense, quite closed but promising.

We brought out a good vintage, which was unexpected last summer. We have seductive wines on the aromatic level, with a beautiful tannic structure. Undoubtedly the best since 2010. It's not a scoop, but it's good news!
